Booking Conditions

Reservations are based on availability and require confirmation of payment.

To confirm your reservation, guests must make the necessary payment as specified for each accommodation.

The prices for reservations, deposits, cleaning fees, and other charges are provided on the respective accommodation page and are subject to change.

All accommodations require a damage deposit to cover any potential property or condominium damages. The deposit amount will be held at check-in for in-person reservations or within 48 hours prior to the reservation start for online express check-in. The deposit will not be charged to guests' accounts but will be temporarily retained until the cancellation of the retention, making the funds inaccessible.

If no damages are incurred during the stay, the deposit will be cancelled within 7 days after check-out using the same credit card. However, if damages are found, the deposit will be retained until payment is made for the damages.

Reservations may be cancelled if authorization cannot be obtained to retain the deposit amount. It is important for guests to ensure their credit cards are valid and have sufficient funds. If the deposit cannot be retained, guests will be notified by email or SMS and will have 12 hours to provide an alternative payment method.

All prices include VAT at the prevailing legal rate.

Payment options

Options for payment include American Express, Visa, and MasterCard credit cards. Guests must also adhere to the specific rules and regulations of each accommodation.

Pre-check-in

Before check-in, the reservation holder will receive an email and/or SMS confirming the reservation and containing important information regarding the accommodation and any additional services available. Guests will be required to complete an Accommodation Bulletin, which is crucial for preparing their stay.

The Accommodation Bulletin will request information such as the time of arrival, the total number of guests for appropriate bed linen and bath towels, and mandatory details regarding foreign and border services.

It is essential for guests to accurately indicate the number of people on the Accommodation Bulletin. The number of guests must not exceed the number specified in the reservation. If the limit is exceeded, VoudeFérias.pt reserves the right to ask guests to vacate the accommodation without any compensation or refund.

VoudeFérias.pt will not be held responsible for any errors or omissions in the Accommodation Bulletin.

Attempts to modify or violate the original information provided in the Accommodation Bulletin will result in its invalidation and potential reservation cancellation.

Cancellation policies:

According to the cancellation policy, if a guest cancels their reservation up to 30 days before the check-in date, they will be required to pay 50% of the total amount of the reservation. If the cancellation occurs less than 30 days before the check-in date, the guest will be required to pay 100% of the total amount of the reservation.

In the event of an overbooking situation, where there are simultaneous reservations for the same accommodation, the guest acknowledges and accepts that VoudeFérias.pt may reallocate their reservation to another accommodation of the same category. VoudeFérias.pt will ensure that the quality of the alternative accommodation is not inferior to the originally booked accommodation. The guest will not be charged any additional costs for this reallocation and will not be entitled to any compensation from VoudeFérias.pt as a result.

Stay conditions

 

Additionally, smoking is strictly prohibited in all VoudeFérias.pt accommodations. Any evidence of smoking inside the accommodation will result in a fine and additional cleaning fees.

The reservation holder is responsible for any damages or losses caused to the accommodation during their stay. VoudeFérias.pt reserves the right to charge the reservation holder for any necessary repairs or replacements.

Check-in and check-out times will be specified in the booking confirmation. Early check-ins or late check-outs may be available upon request, but are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.

Guests are expected to respect the property and the other tenants or neighbors. Excessive noise or disturbance may result in eviction without any refund.

Cancellation policies may vary depending on the specific accommodation and time of booking. It is advisable to review the cancellation policy before making a reservation.

VoudeFérias.pt is not responsible for any personal belongings left behind in the accommodation.

By making a reservation through VoudeFérias.pt, the guest agrees to abide by the above terms and conditions. Failure to comply may result in penalties or termination of the reservation without any compensation or refund.

Smoking is not permitted inside the accommodation.

If the guest fails to provide their identification information or does not notify VoudeFérias.pt of any damages to the accommodation, they may be held responsible for those damages. This requirement applies to all foreign guests, except for Portuguese nationals, under the terms of article 45 no. 1 (a) of the Convention for the Application of the Schengen Agreement.

Additional services

Guests can choose to request private transfers from the airport or train station to their accommodation. This convenient service ensures a smooth and hassle-free journey to the destination.

Cleaning and laundry services are also available upon request. Guests can request cleaning during their stay or have their laundry taken care of, allowing them to relax and enjoy their vacation without worrying about household chores.

For families with babies or young children, VoudeFérias.pt offers cribs for rent. This service ensures a comfortable and safe sleeping environment for the little ones.

In addition, guests can purchase tickets to various tourist attractions through VoudeFérias.pt. This service allows visitors to conveniently book tickets in advance and avoid long queues at popular tourist spots.

It is important to note that all additional services are subject to availability confirmation. Guests are advised to make their requests in advance to ensure the availability of the desired service.

While VoudeFérias.pt facilitates the arrangement of these additional services, it is not responsible for any services provided by external suppliers. The company acts as an intermediary to connect guests with reliable service providers, but cannot guarantee the quality or outcome of the services provided. Guests are advised to communicate directly with the service providers for any inquiries or issues related to the additional services.

Check-in and Check-out

VoudeFérias.pt is a vacation rental company that has specific check-in and check-out procedures for their guests. Upon check-in, the person responsible for the reservation and all foreign guests will be required to provide identification documents to confirm the provided information.

The accommodation is to be occupied between 16:00 and 20:00 on the check-in date, unless otherwise agreed upon. If a guest needs to check-in after 20:00, they must inform VoudeFérias.pt in advance and confirm the possibility of an express check-in service. The express check-in service is dependent on the guests filling out a complete Accommodation Bulletin prior to their arrival. If the express check-in service is not available, a fixed fee of €30 will be charged for late check-ins, which must be paid upon check-in.

Check-out time is 11:00 am, and all guests must vacate the accommodation by this time. Guests are requested to inform VoudeFérias.pt of their desired check-out time so that a team member can be present. If a team member is not able to be present at check-out time, guests can leave the keys on the main table inside the accommodation and close the door. It is important not to leave the keys in the door lock.

If a guest refuses to leave the accommodation by the scheduled check-out time, VoudeFérias.pt reserves the right to enter the accommodation, remove the guest's belongings, change the locks, and take any other necessary measures. The guest will be responsible for any costs associated with these actions.

Any changes to the dates and times of departure and entry must be confirmed by VoudeFérias.pt. Without notice and confirmation from VoudeFérias.pt, if there are delays, the security deposit may be charged a fee corresponding to the one-night rate.

During check-in, VoudeFérias.pt will provide only one set of keys to the guests. It is the guests' responsibility to take care not to lose or leave the keys inside the apartment. All keys must be returned upon check-out. Additional fees will be charged for lost keys or lockouts, with prices being €30 per lost key.

In the case of an emergency visit by a VoudeFérias.pt team member between 9:00 and 18:00, there will be a fee of €10. For emergency visits between 18:00 and 9:00, the fee will be €25. If a locksmith service is needed, the guest will be responsible for the total amount charged by the service provider, which will depend on complexity, materials, time spent, and other variables.

VoudeFérias.pt is not responsible for any items left inside the apartment after the guest's departure. However, if any belongings are found in the apartment, they can be returned upon request. The guest will be fully responsible for any expenses related to the process of returning their belongings.

Cleaning, sheets and towels

Failure to comply with these rules may result in additional cleaning fees being charged to the guest.

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the accommodation or its contents during their stay and must report any damages to VoudeFérias.pt immediately.

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the accommodation. If guests wish to smoke, they must do so outside and dispose of their cigarette butts properly.

Pets are not allowed in the accommodation without prior authorization from VoudeFérias.pt. Additional fees may apply for bringing pets.

Noise should be kept to a minimum during the night and early morning hours, in respect for other guests and neighbors.

VoudeFérias.pt reserves the right to terminate the stay of any guest who conducts themselves in a disruptive or unacceptable manner, without any refund or compensation.

These rules are in place to ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience for all guests. Thank you for your cooperation.

Equipment, furniture and accommodation items

If there is any issue with a device not working or if guests are unsure how to use any equipment in the accommodation, they should immediately contact the host in charge of VoudeFérias.pt. The host will provide assistance and resolve the issue.

It is important to note that any changes to the accommodation or its contents are not allowed without proper authorization. This includes moving or removing any items found in the accommodation. These items belong to the owner and should be left as they are during the guest's stay.

Maintenance and special requests

 

Any and all problems within the accommodation (e.g., electrical problems, equipment malfunction, water leaks) should be immediately reported to VoudeFérias.pt by email or telephone. Depending on the problem, the resolution can take up to 72 hours or more if it depends on third-party services.

While respecting guest privacy, VoudeFérias.pt reserves the right to access accommodation at any time, if necessary, for inspections, reparations, and emergencies.

Extra beds and baby cots can be requested in advance but are limited to availability at the moment.

Noise, Illegal Activity, Security

According to the law, the night rest period is between 10 pm and 8 am, so guests must remain silent.

Guests should not disturb the neighbours, namely when opening or closing the door of the accommodation or the door of the building where it is integrated (when applicable).

Reservations for illegal or immoral activities are not accepted.

Failure to comply with these rules may result in the immediate termination of the guest's stay without refund. Guests will also be responsible for any damages caused to the property during their stay.

Any disputes or claims arising from the guest's stay will be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in which the property is located. The guest agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.

VoudeFérias.pt reserves the right to amend or modify these rules at any time. It is the guest's responsibility to regularly check for updates or changes.

By confirming the booking, the guest acknowledges that they have read and understood these rules and agree to abide by them.

Responsibility

In summary, VoudeFérias.pt is legally limited to their role as an accommodation provider and their relationship with guests during their stay. They are not liable for any occurrences outside of the accommodation, such as cleaning, maintenance, noise, or neighbors. Changes in the accommodation compared to the photos on the website may occur, but without compromising the overall condition or amenities. VoudeFérias.pt does not compensate guests or transfer them to other accommodation based on appearance or surroundings. Guests are responsible for ensuring they choose an area or neighborhood they like before booking. VoudeFérias.pt is not responsible for any damages or deficiencies during the guest's stay, or for any delays, accidents, losses, or changes related to their suppliers. They are also not responsible for errors or omissions made by third parties or for disputes between a guest and a third party. If guests do not comply with the terms and conditions or engage in misconduct, VoudeFérias.pt reserves the right to require them to leave without compensation.

Legislation and fortuitous events

The guests agree to use the accommodation responsibly and in accordance with the local laws and regulations. They will not engage in any illegal activities or disturb the peace and quiet of the surrounding area. They will also respect the privacy and property of the neighbors.

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the accommodation during their stay. They will report any damage or issues to VoudeFérias.pt immediately.

Guests will not sublet the accommodation or allow anyone else to stay without prior authorization from VoudeFérias.pt.

The number of guests stated in the reservation cannot be exceeded without prior permission from VoudeFérias.pt.

The guests agree to check-in and check-out at the agreed times. Late check-in may incur additional charges.

The guests agree to pay any additional fees or charges incurred during their stay, such as utilities or cleaning fees.

VoudeFérias.pt reserves the right to terminate this agreement and ask the guests to leave the accommodation immediately if they breach any of the terms and conditions stated in this agreement.

This agreement is governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes arising from this agreement will be settled by the courts of Portugal.

Both parties confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions stated in this agreement.

Amendments and Applicable Law

VoudeFérias.pt reserves the right to update its terms and conditions at any time as necessary. It is responsibility of the parties that use VoudeFérias.pt service to review these terms and conditions in the event of a change before making a reservation.

 

By agreeing to use the VoudeFérias.pt service it is understood that the guest accepts any changes and that all parties will comply with those changes. These terms and conditions do not affect guests’ rights.

These terms and conditions are subject to Portuguese law. The Portuguese Courts have exclusive jurisdiction in case of legal action relating to any accommodation reservation with VoudeFérias.pt.
